Taiyang Chemical has launched a new solution for post-dyeing fabric care — the TY2-43 Acid Reduction Detergent, designed to simplify the acid cleaning process after disperse dyeing on polyester and blended fabrics.
Unlike traditional hydrosulfite-based cleaning, TY2-43 allows for acidic reduction without draining the dye bath. This means no neutralization step is required, making the process faster and more efficient.
TY2-43 is ideal for deep or fluorescent colors. It won’t alter shades or reduce brightness. Even for moisture-wicking fabrics or soft-feel finishes, this detergent performs with minimal color shift.
The detergent can also be used with polyester-cotton blends, warp knits, and weft knits. It supports consistent dyeing quality while avoiding re-dyeing failures caused by color bleed or uneven tone.
Thanks to its direct-to-cleaning capability, TY2-43 reduces washing time by up to 30 minutes per batch. With no need to drain and refill water during pH adjustment, factories can save 2–3 rinse cycles per run, cutting down on both energy and water consumption.
The formulation is non-ionic, APEO-free, and formaldehyde-free, ensuring environmental safety and compliance with global textile regulations.
TY2-43 also offers better results for spandex-containing fabrics compared to traditional reduction agents. It keeps fabric elasticity and strength intact, especially important for sportswear or high-stretch textiles.
