TY2-43 Acid reduction detergent

TY2-43 is an advanced acid reduction cleaning agent, formulated as a compound of special reducing agents and surfactants. It is primarily used for the acid reduction cleaning of polyester and its blended fabrics after dyeing. This product offers a significant improvement over traditional cleaning methods, especially for fabrics dyed with polyester azo dyes.

As a modern hydrosulfite alternative, TY2-43 simplifies the entire post-dyeing process, leading to significant savings in time, water, and energy.

When used for reduction cleaning after disperse dyeing, TY2-43 offers the following advantages compared to traditional cleaning with insurance powder (sodium hydrosulfite):

1. Simplified Process & Cost Reduction: It allows for cleaning under acidic conditions without draining the dye bath. This eliminates the need for intermediate drainage and neutralization washing steps, significantly shortening process time and reducing operational costs.

2. Superior Performance on Blends: The cleaning effect on fabrics containing spandex is better and safer than that of insurance powder, helping to preserve the fabric's elasticity.

3. No Impact on Color: It does not affect the final dyeing effect and will not alter the fluorescence or color of fluorescent dyes, ensuring color consistency and vibrancy.

4. Compatibility with Finishes: For fabrics with special finishes like moisture absorption and perspiration, this acid reduction cleaning process will not negatively impact their performance, with minimal color change.

Recommended Application Process

1. For Medium to Dark Colors on Polyester (Warp Knits, Weft Knits, Woven)

• Dosage: 1–2% (o.w.f) of TY2-43

• pH: 4.0–5.0

• Temperature & Time: 85–98°C for 20–40 min

2. For Polyester-Cotton Knits

• Dosage: 1.5–2.5% (o.w.f) of TY2-43

• pH: 4.0–5.0

• Temperature & Time: 95–105°C for 20–40 min

Important Process Note: After dyeing, cool the bath to the required cleaning temperature. First, add acid to adjust the dye bath pH to 4.0–5.0. Then, add the TY2-43 reduction cleaning agent for heat preservation cleaning. Do not mix the cleaning agent directly with acid!

This product is specifically used for the acid reduction cleaning of polyester fabrics and their blended fabrics after dyeing with disperse dyes.

Handling and Storage

• Things to Note: This product should not come into direct contact with strong oxidants or acids.

• Storage: Store at room temperature in the original, sealed packaging. Kept in a clean and covered container, this product presents no handling or storage difficulties.

• Packaging: Available in 50 KG and 125 KG plastic drums.

• Shelf Life: 6 months.
