Taiyang Chemical offers the TY4-18 PP Substitute, a specially formulated product for denim garment decolorization. It is suitable for various fabric types, including stretch yarn and indigo-dyed textiles. The product is designed to produce excellent decolorization effects while minimizing environmental harm.
The PP Substitute is a light red liquid, fully soluble in water. It contains no harmful elements such as manganese, chlorine, iodine, or bromine. This makes it safer to handle and better for the environment. The product meets strict industry requirements for closed system atomization processes.
The product can be applied using spray guns, sponges, brushes, or gloves. It requires no special fabric pretreatment except hand rubbing or laser treatment. After application, garments should rest at room temperature for at least 15 minutes to ensure full chemical reaction.
Before washing, a complete neutralization is essential. Taiyang Chemical recommends a two-step process using Special White with hydrogen peroxide, followed by sodium metabisulfite treatment. This ensures excellent whiteness and fabric homogeneity. For serious color loss, an anti-dyeing agent can be added to the neutralization steps.
The recommended ratio is one part catalyst to five parts substitute, mixed with water as needed. Normally, 30-80 grams per garment are used, depending on fabric and desired effect. For stronger effects, microfiber gloves may be employed. Preliminary tests are always advised to verify optimal results.
Store the product in sealed original packaging at 5-30°C. Avoid exposure to high temperatures and prolonged contact to maintain product effectiveness. Use HDPE or stainless steel containers to prevent reaction issues. Follow all industrial safety and hygiene regulations when handling.
