TY4-18 is a versatile, ready-to-use product. No special pre-treatment is required, other than prior hand rubbing or laser treatment if desired. It can be applied in several ways:
Spraying: The most common method, using a spray gun for localized, targeted effects.Manual Application: Sponges, brushes, and microfiber gloves can be used to create unique textures and stronger effects.Immersion: Suitable for achieving different overall treatment results.
After application, allow the garment to rest at room temperature for at least 15 minutes to ensure the chemical reaction is complete.
For optimal results, follow this simple, two-step process.
Ratio: Mix 1 part catalyst (like our TY-8806P) with 5 parts of TY4-18 substitute.Dilution: After mixing, the concentrate can be diluted with water to achieve the desired intensity.Typical Amount: Use 30-80 grams of the mixed solution per garment, depending on the fabric and desired effect.
Before subsequent washing, a complete neutralization is crucial to stop the reaction and ensure whiteness. We recommend a two-step process:
Treat with 2-3 g/L Special White + 2-3 g/L hydrogen peroxide at 45°C for 10 minutes.Follow with 2-3 g/L sodium metabisulfite at 45°C for 10 minutes.
For severe color loss, consider adding a suitable anti-back staining agent to the neutralization bath.
Storage: Store the product in its sealed, original packaging at 5-30°C.Handling: Always follow industrial safety and hygiene regulations. Use HDPE or stainless steel containers to prevent reactions.Product Life: Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures to maintain product effectiveness.
