TY8806B is a high-performance, fluorinated waterproofing and oil-repellent agent. It is designed for the finishing of all types of textile fabrics and synthetic leather base materials, including high-density polyester taffeta and pongee, delivering excellent and durable protection.

Scope of Application

Waterproofing and oil-repellent treatment for natural fibers (wool, silk, cotton), blends (polyester-cotton, nylon-cotton), and synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon).

Finishing for synthetic leather fabrics.

Anti-siphon treatment for microfiber, footwear materials, and woven straps.

Recommended Application Processes

1. Padding for Textile Fabrics

Dosage: 6-50 g/L

Process: One dip, one squeeze → Dry at 110-120°C (1-3 min) → Cure/Set at 160-180°C (1-2 min).

2. Treatment for Synthetic Leather Base Fabrics

Pre-treatment: 10-50 g/L via dip-and-wring → Dry (110-120°C) → Set (above 150°C for best results).

Post-treatment: 5-20 g/L mixed with resin → Apply to surface → Dry and Set (above 150°C for best results).

3. Spray Application

Dilute the concentrate with at least 10 parts water, spray onto the fabric surface, and dry/set at temperatures above 150°C.

Important Usage and Processing Notes

Enhancing Durability: To improve wash and rub resistance, add 15-20% of a suitable water-based isocyanate crosslinking agent.

Fabric Preparation: Ensure fabrics are thoroughly washed to remove any residual hydrophilic or anionic substances before treatment.

Working Solution: Dilute with water below 40°C and maintain the working solution temperature below 40°C.

Compatibility: Always conduct pre-testing when combining with other additives (softeners, antistatic agents, etc.). Dilute all auxiliaries 2-3 times before mixing.

Color Deepening: Fluorinated agents may slightly deepen fabric color. Confirm the final shade in advance.
