TY5-3 Non-iron Resin

TY5-3 Non-iron resin is a synthetic resin prepolymer with multiple hydroxymethyl active groups. It does not require the addition of a catalyst and belongs to the self-crosslinking resin category. It is mainly used for durable finishing of textiles and is widely applied to shrink-proofing, wrinkle resistance, creasing, and stiffening treatments of cotton, linen, wool, silk, and blended fabrics with synthetic fibers.

Features

1. Fabrics treated with this product exhibit excellent wrinkle and crease resistance, outstanding wash-and-wear performance, remarkable resilience, and durable press retention, as well as a strong stiffening effect.

2. The finished fabrics feel full, crisp, and thick, and do not yellow under high temperatures.

3. The product has good compatibility and can be used in combination with other similar products. It can also be used together with softeners in the same bath to improve the fabric's performance and provide a smooth and soft hand feel.

Application

Recommended process formula (can be used according to conventional methods):

Padding Method:

Resin: 150–250 g/L
Protective agent: 0–50 g/L
Penetrant: 1–3 g/L
Pad at room temperature (two dips, two nips, pick-up 80%) → Dry (100°C) → Cure (140°C for 30–60 seconds)

Application Scope

General-purpose fabric. Suitable for shrink-proofing, wrinkle resistance, creasing, and stiffening finishing in washing plants.

Storage

Store properly at room temperature in original packaging in clean, covered, and appropriate containers. The product presents no handling or storage difficulties under these conditions.
