TY4-16 Weight-Increasing Agent is a specialized finishing agent formulated from a special surfactant blend. As a colorless, transparent liquid that is easily soluble in cold water, it offers a simple and effective solution for textile manufacturers.

This fabric weight-increasing agent is designed to precisely compensate for weight loss that can occur during wet processing, such as washing or dyeing. It is an environmentally friendly solution that does not affect the inherent properties of the fabric. Recommended Application Process

The final weight gain is determined by two factors: the concentration of the agent in the working solution and the liquid carryover rate (pick-up rate). The key to a successful process is preparing the working solution at the correct ratio, followed by a uniform padding application.

Padding (Immersion and Rolling) Process

• Dosage: 100–200 g/L (add 100–200 kg of product to 1000 L of water)
• Liquid Carryover Rate: 75–90%

1. Process for Silk, Cotton, and Blended Fabrics:

• Dry Fabric → Pad with working solution (75–90% pick-up) → Hot Air Stretching/Drying → Fabric Removal & Rehumidification

2. Process for Polyester and Blended Fabrics:

• Dry Fabric → Pad with working solution (75–90% pick-up) → Heat Setting (110–170°C) → Fabric Removal & Rehumidification

Scope of Application

Suitable for general-purpose fabrics. It is an ideal solution for use in washing plants and dyeing facilities to increase fabric weight after processing.

Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Available in 50 kg and 125 kg plastic drums.
• Storage: Store at room temperature in the original, sealed packaging. This product presents no handling or storage difficulties.
