TY4-15 Anti-Yellowing Agent is a crucial finishing agent for the processing of white and light-colored fabrics. It is expertly formulated to prevent yellowing caused by exposure to oxidizing gases like nitrogen oxides.

Crucially, it is highly effective at preventing phenolic yellowing caused by BHT (2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol), a common issue that occurs during packaging and storage. This ensures that your products maintain their pristine appearance from the factory to the consumer.

Recommended Application Processes

1. Impregnation Method

• Dosage: 2-4% (o.w.f)
• Process: 50-70°C for 30 minutes

2. Brightening in the Same Bath

• Dosage: Brightening Agent: x% | Anti-yellowing Agent: 2-4% (o.w.f)
• Process: 90-98°C for 30 minutes

3. Padding Method

• Dosage: 10-40 g/L
• Pick-up Rate: 60-80%
• Drying: 120-140°C
• Tip: Combining with citric acid (1 g/L) may enhance results. Please conduct a small sample test first to confirm effectiveness.

Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Available in 50 kg and 125 kg plastic drums.
• Storage: Store at room temperature in the original, sealed packaging. This product presents no handling or storage difficulties.
• Shelf life: 6 months.
