TY4-14 Anti-Slip Agent is an advanced finishing agent designed to improve the anti-slip properties of various slippery yarns. It is particularly effective for regenerated cellulose fibers and synthetic fibers commonly used as linings, where it significantly enhances sewing strength.

Technical Specifications and Stability

• Main Component: Modified colloidal polysilicate
• Appearance: White liquid
• pH Value: 4.0–6.0 (at 1% concentration)
• Ionic Nature: Cationic
• General Stability: Stable in hard water and with metal salts. Note: It is unstable in alkaline media.
• Storage Stability: Remains stable for over two years when stored in a sealed container at 20°C. The product is not sensitive to low temperatures but is sensitive to temperatures above 60°C.

Compatibility and Usage Notes

• Compatible With: Can be used in the same bath with most non-ionic and cationic textile auxiliaries commonly used in resin finishing.
• Incompatible With: Should not be used in the same bath with medium to strongly degradable starches, cellulose ethers, or carboxymethyl cellulose. Slight cloudiness may occur with starch ethers but typically does not affect bath stability.
• Preliminary Tests: When using in combination with other products, especially those not from our company, it is essential to conduct preliminary compatibility tests.
• Minimize Lubricants: Since softeners and silicone-based water repellents have lubricating effects, their usage should be minimized to maximize the anti-slip performance.

Recommended Application

TY4-14 is generally applied by immersion or padding in a neutral or weakly acidic working solution.

Dissolution/Dilution

The agent can be mixed with cold water in any proportion or added directly to the working solution without pre-dilution.

Dosage for Resin Finishing

• Dosage: 10–50 g/L
• Drying: 10 minutes at 100°C
• Curing/Baking: 160–170°C

Scope of Application

Suitable for general fabrics, especially for anti-slip and anti-cracking finishing in washing plants and dyeing plants.

Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Available in 50 kg and 125 kg plastic drums.
• Shelf life: 6 months.
• Storage: Store at room temperature in the original, sealed packaging.
