Recommended Application Methods

TY4-10 can be applied using either a pad-dry or an immersion (pad-dip) process. For fabrics dyed with disperse dyes that have poor sublimation fastness, the immersion method is recommended.

1. Pad-Dry Finishing

• Dosage: TY4-10: 20–60 g/L

• pH Value: 4.5–5.0 (adjusted with acetic acid)

• Drying Conditions: 100–140 °C

• Note on Dosage: Calculate the required concentration based on the liquid carryover rate. For example, if the carryover rate is 80%, the concentration should be 12.5 g/L to achieve the equivalent of 10 g/L at a 100% rate.

2. Immersion Method Processing

• Dosage: TY4-10: 2–6% (o.w.f.)

• pH Value: 4.5–5.0 (adjusted with acetic acid)

• Bath Ratio: 1:5–1:10

• Processing: 35–45 °C for 20 minutes

• Drying Conditions: 100–140 °C

Important Application Notes

• Fabric Preparation: For best results, ensure the fabric is clean and free of unbound dyes, emulsifiers, detergents, salts, or alkalis before applying TY4-10. Do not apply other softeners or finishing agents to the fabric surface beforehand, as this may compromise performance.

• Storage Temperature: If the storage temperature falls below 10°C, the product may thicken or solidify. Simply warm it to 20–25°C and stir thoroughly before use.

Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Available in 50 kg and 125 kg plastic drums.

• Storage: Store at room temperature in the original, sealed packaging in a clean, covered, and suitable container. This product presents no handling or storage difficulties.

• Shelf life: 6 months.
