High-Performance Water & Oil Repellency

TY-8808L is a high-performance C6 waterproofing agent designed to deliver excellent water and oil repellency on a wide variety of textiles. It is suitable for general fabric finishing, showing exceptional results on materials such as polyester filament, high-density polyester taffeta, and high-density pongee.

Scope of Application

Suitable for waterproofing treatments on a wide range of fabrics, including:

Recommended Application Methods

1. Denim Waterproofing Process for Laundries

Dilution: Mix 1 part waterproofing agent with 4 to 8 parts water.

Process: Treat at room temperature for 10-20 minutes, then spin-dry and heat-set at 80-100°C.

2. Padding Method

Dosage: 50-200 g/L

Process: Pad → Heat-set at 110°C → Cure at 180°C.

Note: Users should adjust specific parameters based on their own sample testing.

Important Usage Precautions

Enhancing Wash Resistance: To improve durability, users are advised to add an appropriate amount of a crosslinking agent. The recommended dosage is 10%-20% of the waterproofing agent's original concentration.

Fabric Preparation: Ensure fabrics are thoroughly washed before use to minimize residual hydrophilic or ionic substances.

Working Solution: Dilute this product with water below 40°C and maintain the working solution temperature below 40°C during processing.

Compatibility: When combining with other additives (e.g., antistatic agents, softeners), always verify their compatibility and impact on repellency through pre-testing. Dilute all additives 2-3 times before blending.

Handling, Storage, and Transportation

Storage: Store at ambient temperature in the original, sealed packaging. Prevent freezing and avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Color changes do not affect product quality.

Packaging: 50 kg / 125 kg plastic drums.

Shelf Life: 6 months from the delivery date. Drums must be tightly resealed after sampling or use.

Transportation: Handled as a non-hazardous material.
