TY-8808B is a high-performance water and oil repellent designed for the professional finishing of a wide range of textiles. It is suitable for waterproofing and oil-repellent treatments on fabrics including:

• Natural Fibers: Wool, Silk, Cotton

• Synthetic Fibers: Polyester, Nylon

• Blended Fabrics: Polyester-cotton, Nylon-cotton

• Appearance: White to pale yellow emulsion

Recommended Application Process

Padding (Dip and Roll) Method

• Recommended Dosage: 6-30 g/L

• Process: Dip once → Dry at 110°C → Set at 180°C.

• Note: Specific process parameters should be adjusted by users based on their own sample testing to achieve optimal results.

Important Usage and Processing Notes

• Enhancing Wash Resistance: To achieve enhanced durability and wash resistance, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of isocyanate crosslinking agent to the working bath. The recommended dosage is 10%-20% of the water repellent's original concentration.

• Fabric Preparation: Ensure fabrics are thoroughly washed before treatment to minimize residual hydrophilic or ionic substances, which can affect performance.

• Working Solution: Dilute this product with water below 40°C. The temperature of the working liquid should be maintained below 40°C during processing.

• Compatibility: When combining with other auxiliaries (e.g., antistatic agents, softeners, penetrants), it is crucial to verify their polarity, compatibility, and impact on the final water/oil repellency through pre-testing. When preparing the solution, dilute each processing aid at least 2-3 times before mixing.

• For Heavyweight Fabrics: For dense or heavyweight fabrics, it may be necessary to add an appropriate amount of a penetrating agent to ensure uniform application.

• Color Deepening: As a fluorinated processing agent, TY-8808B may cause a slight deepening of the fabric's color. It is essential to confirm the final color of processed products in advance.

Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Available in 50 kg and 125 kg plastic drums.

• Storage: Store in a sealed, light-protected container at 5-40°C. Avoid direct sunlight.

• Shelf life: 12 months.
